April Wrap-up
by JodiLee on Apr.29, 2010, under Appearances, News, Schedule, Titles
It’s been a crazy busy month here at Belfire – our first release finally made it off the desk and onto the shelves, submissions have been keeping us busy and promotions for our first novel release have been in full swing.
And then there was last night. It occurred to me that with the addition of another title to our catalogue, it would probably be best to start using an official cart system, rather than just the simple PayPal buttons we’ve been using. As of 12:01 Saturday morning, Belfire Press will be implementing just such a cart, and a new payment policy – we will begin accepting checks and money orders, with the stipulation that no orders will be processed until payment has cleared the bank. It’s taken a while to get it all set up but it’ll be ready to go just as soon as the Church Street release is set to go.
Which brings me to that subject. All pre-orders and specials involving At The End of Church Street will close at midnight Friday. The novel will be released officially at 12:01 May 1st.
Our very first, official novel release. A totally different species from Courting Morpheus… At The End of Church Street brings us to the true start of our adventure.
Speaking of Church Street, May 1st and releasing… are any of our readers attending Mo*Con in Indianapolis this weekend? If you are, be sure to track down author Gregory L. Hall, help him celebrate the release of Church Street by taking us up on our offer – he’ll have all the details for you.
Also attending Mo*Con this year are other members of the Belfire family: Bob Freeman, Kim Paffenroth and R. Scott McCoy, as well as the Princess of all things terrestrial (and not so terrestrial), Alethea Kontis.
We’re nearing the end of the submissions now, although we will be deliberating for a short while yet. Hang on tight, potential Belfire authors, we’re getting there! As our tagline says, one book at a time…
Until next time…enjoy spring!
