Voni Ryan is a collaborative pseudonym for the authors Violet Ryan and Toni Cantrell. Together as Voni Ryan, they’ve written Absentminded, published by Belfire Press in June, 2010.
Violet L. Ryan, co-author of Absentminded and Tennessee Moonlight, has created stories all her life. Between authoring several books, she’s written articles for newspapers and Christian communications and had several short stories published in magazines, one a contest first prize winner. She regularly participates in Midwest Writer’s Workshops and belongs to Writers Ink of Central Indiana. Violet loves the small Midwestern town where she and hubby, Denny, raised their three beautiful daughters. Favorite pastimes include eating out with friends after Sunday morning church, painting, drawing, reading, and writing. She loves hearing from her readers. You can visit her online at her website; questions and comments welcome at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Toni Cantrell, co-author of Absentminded, also has two published novels of her own: Strangers and Pilgrims and If Ever That Time Come. The sequel to If Ever That Time Come, titled The Gazebo, is currently under contract to Belfire Press, awaiting an early 2011 release date.
Toni has also written numerous short stories, three of which have been published in a small regional literary magazine, and edited several novels and short stories for other members of her writing group.
She and her husband, Manuel, have lived in Anderson, Indiana most of their lives, working and raising their two sons, Dennis and Terry, in this small Midwestern city.
